What You'll Do (AKA: Your Culture-Building Superpowers)

Lead Culture & Engagement Initiatives:

Foster a warm, welcoming environment where team members feel valued and connected.
Support culture programs, employee appreciation events, and recognition initiatives that align with our values.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to ensure every team member feels seen and heard.
Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for team member concerns and feedback.

Support Recruitment & Onboarding:

Partner with hiring managers to attract top talent and build strong, mission-driven teams.
Oversee onboarding experiences that welcome and empower new team members from day one.
Collaborate on hiring events, internal promotions, and retention initiatives.

Drive Performance & Professional Growth:

Support performance management processes that focus on coaching, accountability, and career development.
Deliver training sessions and help identify opportunities for team member growth and upskilling.
Help managers navigate employee relations with compassion, fairness, and consistency.

Champion Compliance & Operational Excellence:

Maintain knowledge of employment laws and support HR compliance efforts.
Assist with investigations, documentation, and resolution of team member issues.
Track HR metrics and help identify areas for improvement across departments.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Great People Skills)

Credentials & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 3-5 years in HR, people operations, or employee engagement roles
Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is a plus
Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and workforce development

Skills & Strengths:

Empathetic listener and clear communicator
Skilled in conflict resolution and coaching
Passionate about building inclusive, high-trust work environments
Tech-savvy with HRIS, Microsoft Office, and modern communication tools

Physical & Schedule Requirements:

Able to navigate a busy community environment with flexibility
Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, or events
On-call for urgent HR-related matters as needed
