Advanced Project Engr (Finance)
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- 4+ years of engineering experience in Aerospace Product Development
- Strong management operating system that facilitates communication
- Leadership skills, particularly in decision-making, driving results, and a bias for action
- Ability to create specific action plans and prioritize time and resources effectively
- Self-motivated individuals who can work with minimal supervision and take initiative
- Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, appropriate to the topic and audience, both internally and externally
- Proficiency in conveying technical ideas and concepts through discussions, presentations, and writing
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Interest in project management, including cost, schedule, and technical execution
- Experience in Product Development, Process, and/or Manufacturing
- Commitment management skills
- Persuasive abilities to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
- Experience with pneumatic systems, products, and controls (Engine Valves, Start Systems, ECS systems)
- Understanding of business objectives and the ability to interact effectively with customers
- Mechanical/Actuation Systems design and/or component controller integration experience is a plus
- Experience with systems requirement flow down
- Familiarity with DOORs or DOORS Next Gen
- Experience with ELM

- Provide technical leadership for the Engine Controls Valves and Start System Product Portfolio
- Manage project performance and execution
- Develop and manage cost, schedule, and milestones
- Implement Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Develop and manage risks (threats/opportunities)
- Foster internal/external customer technical communication and relationships
- Develop and report metrics
- Communicate and interface with hardware suppliers on technical matters
- Solve technical problems and conduct root cause analysis
- Create technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports
- Analyze test data results
- Assess customer requirements documentation
- Evaluate regulatory requirements
- Read and understand detailed design drawings
- Support proposal development by estimating resources and schedules
