Strategic Client Director (Marketing)
Remote- Illinois or Wisconsin
Thales is hiring an experience Strategic Client Director will be responsible for all sales and business development activities in identified strategic accounts, with a strong emphasis on long-term business development, sales performance and sales management. You will provide mentorship, guidance, and skill development for your extended team.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Day-to-day management of multiple Strategic Accounts in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed revenue goals.
Coaching the team on setting SMART goals, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting.
Achieve the Strategic Accounts revenue objectives across CSP offerings to include Data Security, Application Security, Identity Access Management. In addition renewals and re-subscriptions for named accounts..
Represent the area to provide a clear vision and context for market opportunities.
Drive achievement of sales objectives including sales volume, channel development and management, new business development and management of existing revenue streams.
Collaborate with marketing, product management and other related parties to develop local pricing strategies, sales campaigns and any other tools required to be successful in territory.
Regularly visit key existing partners/customers, actively involved in the recruitment of key new partners.
Ability to message, and sell to, C-Suite individuals at some of Thales' most strategic customers. Reviewing regional expenses and keeping within budget.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or another related field of study or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience in sales, quota driven role selling data networking and / or security architecture products
5 to 7+ years of experience managing large national or global accounts with a quota
Ability to manage time effectively in order to optimize productivity.
Proven ability in Storytelling and excellent presentation skills
Proficiency with MS Office products, such as MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
3 to 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce.com

The reference Total Target Compensation(TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between
Total Target Cash (TTC): 248,001.60 - 369,495.36 - 461,869.20 USD AnnualThis reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee's career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company's annual salary budget, the customer's program requirements, and the company's internal equity. Thales may offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's status protected by local, state, or federal law.
