Regulatory Reporting Issues Management, VP (Finance)
Mizuho Americas Finance - Financial Regulatory Reporting is a team responsible for the preparation of regulatory filings for multiple entities under Mizuho US operations (the "Firm"), reporting to Mizuho Americas Bank Controller. The selected colleague will work at the Mizuho office two or three days per week with the remainder worked remotely, subject to Mizuho HR remote work policies.
Summary
The position supports the Head of Change the Bank (Regulatory Reporting initiatives) at Mizuho Americas to drive execution of remediation and change management programs. This primarily function of the role is to support effective management of regulatory reporting issues. This includes maturing the regulatory issue management process, defining and managing issue severity criteria, reviewing and challenging the quality and completeness of remediation efforts, maintaining and monitoring the inventory of known issues, and supporting management and regulator communications associated with these issues. The successful candidate is expected to have strong working knowledge of the bank regulatory reporting operating model, subject matter expertise in key regulatory reports (e.g., FR Y-9C, FR Y-15, FR Y-10, and FR 2025a) , and an understanding of the governance framework supporting bank regulatory report production. The candidate must have the ability to drive remediation actions, raise key risks and challenges, and has excellent communication skills.

The expected base salary ranges from $114,000 - $180,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
