Description
Summary:
Review the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations in accordance with established practices, processes, regulations, guidelines and standards in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.
Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
Discuss changes in design, method of manufacture and assembly, and drafting techniques and procedures with staff and coordinate corrections.
Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate proposals for improving equipment performance.
Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods.
Abide by, enforce and participate in the implementation and ongoing oversight of all company safety standards and regulations.

Education/Experience:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook; and basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Facilities Management software, Industrial Control software, Computer Aided Manufacturing Software, and Computer Aided Design software.
