About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, data oriented and highly motivated Inventory Control Manager to lead our inventory operations and ensure the highest levels of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This is a key leadership role that combines operational excellence with strategic planning to deliver outstanding results for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior leadership, direction, and strategy for theInventory Control team, ensuring operational deliverables are met or exceeded.
  • Lead, coach and train a team of 7-10 inventory associates.
  • Work in partnership with all different stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, HR, Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Lean, and Engineering.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and shrink reporting, delivering timely updates to site leadership.
  • Maximize the performance of site inventory processes and systems to safeguard customer inventory.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation between physical/virtual counts..
  • Leverage information technology for optimal inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare documentation to meet compliance and audit requirements.
  • Plan and execute proactive and reactive cycle counts in line with contractual service level agreements.
  • Develop, implement, and validate procedures, controls, and systems to prevent, detect, and correct inventory errors.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, compliance, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design and produce reports to track accuracy, shrink, and root cause analysis of variances.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of internal and customer systems to provide operational and customer support.
  • Oversee proper identification, repackaging, and documentation of damaged products for return or disposal.
  • Develop labor and equipment plans with budget recommendations for site leadership review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of inventory control, logistics, or related experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
  • Experience with automation in warehousing environment preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth understanding of inventory control processes and their financial/operational impact.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and detail orientation.
  • Ability to lead and influence teams, build strong working relationships, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule with ability to adjust hours as business needs require.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse activities as needed.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,500.00 - $143,700.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
