School Based Therapist - Riverview School District (Personal Services)



Position Summary: Attention licensed therapists with an LPC, LCSW or LMFT! This is an exciting time to join the Glade Run School Based Mental Health Program which is enjoying tremendous expansion across Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Venango and Clarion Counties! We are looking for bright, passionate, creative mental health therapists to grow along with us. This position will work out of the Riverview School District and offers full benefits, free credentialing assistance, school hours, paid time off during the school year according to the public school calendar, up to 9 weeks of paid time off during the summer months, a $2000 new hire incentive bonus, and the ability to earn up to $500 per quarter ($2000 annually) with productivity incentives. This position also offers the opportunity to work part-time for additional income over the summer when school is not in session at $48.00 per billable hour and $15.00 per administrative/training hour. Our therapists work an average of 4.5 -15 hours per week over the summer, which can account for an extra $1940 - $6500 in annual earnings.

What You'll Do:

  • Complete intakes (inclusive of psycho-social assessment, initial treatment plan and required legal consents) for assigned school-based clients in accordance with outpatient regulations.
  • Develop measurable treatment plan goals in collaboration with the assigned school-based client (and legal guardian when indicated).
  • Complete treatment reviews in accordance with outpatient regulations.
  • Provide individual, group and family therapy as indicated in the treatment plan.
  • Complete clinical progress notes in a timely manner and include references to the treatment plan.
  • Consult with designated psychiatrist and school-based supervisor regularly to ensure effective collaboration and quality of service.
  • Participate in individual and group clinical supervision activities as scheduled.
  • Communicate and collaborate with designated school district personnel when indicated.
  • Attend in-service and professional development activities as scheduled.
  • Must meet agency productivity requirements.
  • Enter clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a timely manner as per program guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree in a counseling related field which must include a clinical practicum. Professional license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) required and credentialing preferred. (Professional license does not include Licensed Social Worker LSW).
  • Must have audio/visual/verbal activity to provide supervision for the clients and to perform essential job function.
  • Must have emotional stability to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with agency personnel and community agencies.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Ability to adjust hours to job requirements.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to protect the confidentiality of the clients.
  • Eligible for PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance and FBI clearance.
