General Maintenace Worker- Alternative Shift (Project Management)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required.- HOURS: Monday- Friday 3:00pm -11:30pm
§ Install and repair plumbing fixtures
§ Install and repair waste and soil line piping within the building envelope.
§ Open sewer lines and plumbing stoppages.
§ Troubleshoot and repair forced air furnaces and hot water tanks.
§ Trace short circuits. Remove electric wiring and installs new wiring.
§ Install lights, switches and plugs.
§ Perform carpentry work (e.g. laying tile and underlayment, and rebuilding floors).
§ Repair and prepare metal, wood, masonry, plaster and drywall surfaces for painting. Mix and apply paint to interior and exterior surfaces.
§ Install and repair metal and wood cabinets, doors and windows.
§ Attend required workshops, seminars, staff meetings, etc. to stay current on job requirements.
§ Clean work areas to include the residential units and common areas where work was performed
§ Ensure curb appeal of the properties is well maintained by keeping exterior and interior areas are clean, free of litter, debris, trash and hazards and maintenance repairs are addressed in a timely manner
§ Provide excellent customer service
§ Perform additional duties as assigned.
