Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who possesses a strong record of managing large scale projects from inception to completion and delivering results within budget, scope and schedule.

This role is 3 days at our Newton Headquarters and 2 days remote.

Job Description

• Leading multiple high priority projects in a fast-paced environment leveraging the full lifecycle of a project using PM Processes.
• This role will allow for experience working across all lines of business and across the enterprise.
• Delivering project results predictably, on time and on budget.
• Providing regular project progress measures and status reporting.
• Communication of Project status, Risk, Issues and Decisions on a regular basis
• Creation and monitoring detailed project plans
• Management of Change deliverables incorporated into the plan
• Stakeholder management
• Vendor Management

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Manage the successful execution of projects impacting the hotel properties
• Interface, on a daily basis, with business leaders, individual contributors and a variety of personnel to ensure proper scope, resource allocation and dependencies are being addressed
• Coach and lead cross-functional project teams made up of internal and vendor resources
• Conduct project and iteration planning to deliver high-value solutions incrementally
• Estimate projects using multiple techniques to arrive at realistic schedules
• Oversee timely execution of work effort from project team
• Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required tasks, providing early visibility to schedules/milestones that are at risk
• Independently manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects
• Coordinate and facilitate communications with management and across teams
• Manage project budget, scope and internal customer expectations
• Manage changes during and after project implementation
• Collect and analyze metrics to enable and lead continuous improvement of processes
• Ensure Lessons learned are captured, shared, and action plans to address learnings for the organization on future projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-7 years of progressive experience as a Project Manager
• Formal traditional and/or agile project management experience and expertise
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with business and hotel professionals
• Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops in person and remotely
• Ability to think and act analytically and strategically, solve problems and recommend approaches and solutions
• Ability to think creatively and to inspire others to do so as well
• Leadership to motivate the team
• This role, will require the Project Manager to assist in deliverables to help assist the team when necessary

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience working on projects in the Hospitality Industry
• PMP Certification is desired but not required
• Certification in SCRUM a plus
• Experience with requirements gathering and design, including process mapping and gap analysis
• Experience working in a large, geographically distributed environment
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana, SmartSheets, & Microsoft Applications

Pay Range

pay range: $100,000 to $110,000 . Base pay offer may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific/overall experience.
