Senior Business Analyst (Project Management)

The Senior Business Analyst is a senior level business analysis position and serves as a key subject matter expert for organizing and coordinating strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business on data, reporting, and Salesforce requests. This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities and business, functional and technical requirements needed to address business challenges. Business Analysts work closely with Business resources and stakeholders, internal Technology teams, and various vendors and third-party consultants and implementers.

Responsibilities:

  • Distill and analyze complex, enterprise level business challenges and to transform those challenges into succinct, written business, functional and technical requirements
  • Review business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of business or technical processes
  • Able to communicate high level technology requirements and specifications that meet current and future business needs
  • Lead large enterprise level projects working with cross functional teams in planning, development and implementation of technical solutions
  • Facilitate design sessions for business solutions
  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing capabilities in Business Line portfolio to solve business challenges
  • Ensure that the design and integration of proposed system, software and hardware solutions leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology
  • Escalate project roadblocks to Business Line and Program Management Leadership

Qualifications/Background:

  • 5-10 years working in a financial services environment with special emphasis on coordinating business, functional and technical requirements and/or project management across large cross functional teams, programs or projects
  • Advanced knowledge of general IT, and Business Operations
  • Experience writing reports in Power BI, SQL queries, and Power Automate
  • 3-5 years Salesforce administration experience
  • Must possess solid leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile and Scrum Methodologies
  • Must have advanced knowledge of business productivity tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to be creative and think outside of the box to see the whole business picture while maintaining an exceptional eye for detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and programs simultaneously
  • Able to work with strict deadlines and time pressure
  • Excellent attitude and positive demeanor
  • B.S, B.A. in Computer Science or Business  preferred

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
