Assisted Living Lead Nurse (RN) (Healthcare)

Are you a compassionate, detail-oriented nurse ready to take on a leadership role in senior care? Northern Lights Community The Oaks is seeking a Part-Time Lead Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, resident-focused care in our Assisted Living community. This is a 16-hour-per-week position with on-call responsibilitiesperfect for a nurse who loves supporting both residents and team members with skill, compassion, and purpose.

What Youll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)

Lead Exceptional Resident Care:

Administer medications safely and monitor resident responses to treatment.

Perform comprehensive assessments and accurately document findings.

Provide personalized, respectful care that promotes dignity and comfort.

Collaborate with caregivers and providers to create individualized care plans.

Support Safe Transitions & Resident Wellness:

Lead discharge planning for residents with a thoughtful, organized approach.

Provide resident and family education on health management and care goals.

Address aliment-related needs to promote overall comfort and well-being.

Model Clinical Leadership:

Delegate appropriate tasks to care staff while ensuring high-quality follow-through.

Guide the care team in adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.

Perform venipuncture and manage IV access when needed.

Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance, including ICD-9 coding where required.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Clinical Excellence & Heart)

Licensure & Experience:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin (required).

Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric nursing highly preferred.

Proficient in medication administration and venipuncture techniques.

Location & Requirements:

Must be able to reliably commute to Washburn, WI (54891)

RN license required

Availability for on-call rotation and occasional weekend/holiday support
