Description: We are looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant who will be responsible for diverse accounting functions, financial analysis, and support our growing organization through a variety of accounting processes and special projects.

DUTIES:
Reviews expense accounts and capital asset accounts for accuracy.Maintain Capital Asset Schedule including updates.Maintains Truck Inventory Schedule.Monitors Floorplan with Financial institutions.Works with the outside auditors.Maintains and Reconciles cash accounts.Assists the AP team to reconcile vendor accounts, cash planning and payments.Creative in problem solving and understands the benefits of using AI tools to help the accounting team because more efficient.Manages Parts Return Receivable accounts.Manages and works on a specific set of challenging vendors.Ensure all checks and ACH payments are accurately recorded.Monitors and resolves online banking.Reviews invoices for assigned vendors through AP software.Assists AP staff to resolve approval issues.Provides Docubizz (Accounts Payable) support and training for operations staff members.Assists in month-end close process and various accounting functions.Attends and participates in the monthly financial review sessions.Clearly communicates G/L account transactions.
Must Haves:
Financial Statement Preparation experience.4-year Business/Accounting Degree from an accredited institution.Minimum 2 years of accounting experience required.Accounting software and payroll systems proficiencyAdvanced Excel and spreadsheet applicationsOffice Suite (Word, Outlook) experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills, excellent communicator and self-motivation.
