Sr Analyst, Income Process (Finance)

Major Duties :

1. Responsible for the collection, verification and processing income related entitlements in an accurate timely manner

2. Cleanse data ,analyzing impact of events and processing approach required

3. Set up and process events on the accounting system(s)

4. Identifying and resolving issues, or escalating to Team Coordinator where required.

5. Actively participate in team discussions and make suggestions that lead to quality, resource and target orientated improvements

6. Maintain documented procedures to ensure team compliance with industry regulation and best practice

7. Ensure that the Incident/regulatory breach reporting procedure is followed

8. Contribute to effective team-working and the overall efficiency of the team by assisting in the day-to-day training and coaching of less experienced members of the team

9. Handles complex operating issues within the team

10. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact

11. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management

12. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees

Knowledge :

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Functional / Industry Knowledge is required, specifically Income processing
Understanding of income event types across major markets and across all instrument types
Analytical and problem solving skills are required

Experience :A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is required

Salary Range:
$47,500 - 71,300 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
