Employee Experience and Programs Transformation Partner (Project Management)



Ardurra is seeking an Employee Experience and Programs Transformation Partner to join our team, preferably in Dallas, TX., though remote candidates will also be considered.

At Ardurra, the Employee Experience and Programs Transformation Partner is a blend of a strategic and detailed hands-on role responsible for applying and participating in enhancing human resources programs and solutions that align with our growing organization's goals, consistent with the company's values while supporting our culture and a great employee-centric work environment. Our company's organic growth and acquisitive growth strategies require a successful Employee Experience and Programs Transformation Partner to have a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects to identify and address hidden issues that may impede the company's success. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to effectively interact with employees at all levels and within the HR team to positively influence organizational outcomes and help Ardurra to tailor, implement, and scale important new programs in alignment with evolving business needs. As part of a quickly growing company, this Partner role acts as a key HR resource in successful employee experiences that represent key investments in the employee life cycle. This role also ensures the Employee Council's influence and voice is effectively enabled to inform Leadership on priority employee-centric investments and solutions.

While subject to further review, expansion, and transformation, the current programs this role is a champion and owner for include Student Internship programming, Employee Council stewardship and facilitation, and the Leadership Cohort discovery program. Transforming and expanding program solutions is a priority and the Employee Experience and Programs Transformation Partner is a key to ensuring employees and leadership stakeholders can experience a robust and effective set of impactful solutions supporting our valuable workforce. This role is a strong collaborator with the Employee Engagement Partner and provides thought leadership, ownership, and project management of highly effective programming aligned with Ardurra's Mission, Vision and Values and with our retention and recruitment objectives.

Primary Function

This role will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer and collaborate in thought leadership and implementing programs and solutions to match employee experience, program transformation, and culture needs for the Ardurra firm-wide organization. The Employee Experience and Programs Transformation Partner collaborates with the HR team and executes initiatives and program deliverables that nurture our talent; supports rewarding career paths; and our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional services or engineering, architectural and construction organization. The right candidate will be energized by the talented individuals who make up our entrepreneurial workforce. Primary Duties 

  • Communication: Work closely with employees and represent an approachable advocacy for employees and thoughtful trusted partnership with leaders and managers. Information and insight sharing with appropriate HR and leadership stakeholders applying confidentiality and discretion, as needed.
  • Coordination: Coordinate effectively with the CHRO and Director, Talent and HR Operations and Regional HR Business Partners and Ardurra leadership to develop and implement strategies and programs that support both long-term and short-term organizational goals.
  • HR Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members and employees to ensure alignment and synergies with the firmwide and regional goal and deliverable assignments and team tactics and deliverables.
  • Consultation and Mentorship: Build effective partnerships and relationships with business leaders and employees to translate and business requirements to recommend HR solutions that solve problems and deliver approved initiatives and programs.
  • Performance Analysis: Synthesize and analyze information such as employee survey results or program completion survey data to identify and recommend areas for improvement and drive enhancements.
  • Employee Integrations: Participates in acquisition support and new business integration activities in collaboration with other HR team members, as needed

Education and Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience as an HR employee, with significant “hands on” experience in leading programs and/or project management roles
  • Experience in applying thoughtful problem solving, project management, and time management skills.
  • Experience with sensitive and confidential information while maintaining strictest confidentiality
  • Experience in complex and technical work environments
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal and facilitation communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Certified HR professional with a robust HR skillset and/or experiences in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience in the AEC industry or professional services operating as a effective partner to the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong relationship building and change management best practice knowledge and capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as interdependently with others to deliver exceptional results.
  • Demonstrated professional maturity in dealing with variety of employee situations including interfacing with senior leadership
  • Ability to participate in or lead acquisition support activities
  • Experience integrating employees into existing or new operating structures successfully.
  • Experience facilitating new hire orientation and other training as needed and/or partnering with HR team and leadership to gain understanding of training needs within the business
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Good working knowledge of HR Systems (HRIS), creating and using spreadsheets (Excel), and having an “eye for detail.”
  • Demonstrated ability to support coaching and counseling frameworks.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in the office as needed with flexibility to work extended hours for projects.
  • A driving interest to perform at the highest level, continually looking for better answers & new solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, project management, communication, problem solving, and influence skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to form excellent working relationships with the business and within HR.
  • Collaborative, experienced with supporting stakeholders and team members in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong experience in interfacing with employee management and operational leadership.
  • Significant experience working with interdependent HR teams and leadership to develop and implement transformative growth solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with HR management and people management.
  • Demonstrated achievements as an HR professional such as employee program development.
  • Knowledge of employee development and employment life cycle experiences that can support careers and develop potential.
  • Passion for learning about competitors and applying insights to inform HR recommendations for our business.
  • Must prefer to be on a “winning team” as opposed to a comfortable routine that never changes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • The right candidate could be located to work remotely with light travel needs.
