To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Wave Operator located in Austin, TX.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Wave Operator will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to groups of non-exempt employees.
3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:15am Sunday – Thursday
What a typical day looks like:
· Sets up and operates a wave solder machine.
· Operates finger cleaner pump, conveyor and IR pre-heaters.
· Troubleshoots problem areas.
· Runs product.
· Provides preventative and daily /weekly maintenance.
· Operates all machine functions, e.g. fluxer, hot air knife, conveyor and pre-heaters.
· Identifies defects and enters data to shop floor control system.
May clean dross out of solder pot.

• Microsoft Office proficiency

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock and occasionally works in job assignments that may require overtime and 3rd shift job assignments as required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
