Raw Material Manager (Manufacturing)

As Raw Material Manager, you support and facilitate the raw materials planning and production scheduling processes. This is an excellent opportunity to provide meaningful impact towards business goals and enable Plastipak to meet and exceed customer expectations!

You Will:

• Support and facilitate raw material supply processes to meet manufacturing requirements
• Support and facilitate production scheduling processes
• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers
• Improve processes in the area of supply chain management
• Build and manage relationships with other Plastipak sites and Corporate contacts to create opportunities for the Medina Plant
• Investigate and address non-conformance with raw materials and effectively communicate to suppliers and customers
• Understand systems for transactional analysis and reconciliation
• Participate in cross-functional teams both internally as well as across sites
• Actively engage with Safety, Food Safety and TPM teams/processes as required including documenting/recording of issues and participation in team and individual functions/roles

You Have:

• 5+ years of materials management experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience supporting raw material supply processes preferred
• Proficient use of related computer software, i.e.: SAP, MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to operate as an effective leader and representative of Plastipak
