Application Developer (Information Technology)

Reports To: Director, Application's Development
Salary Range: $80,000 to $110,000 *based on experience/qualifications
Position Summary
As an Application Developer at SCA, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations and applications that support our enterprise systems and automation needs. This role requires a strong background in middleware platforms, serverless computing, scripting, and database management, along with a collaborative spirit and a willingness to work across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between diverse systems using platforms such as Mulesoft and Boomi
- Build, deploy, and maintain Azure Functions for serverless computing solutions
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell
- Work with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern authentication protocols such as OAuth and JWT
- Design Snowflake schema models to support data warehousing needs
- Manage and optimize databases including PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Support DevOps initiatives including CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience with system integration and middleware platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi)
- Proficiency in developing serverless applications on Microsoft Azure
- Strong scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, and/or PowerShell
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, GraphQL, and authentication standards
- Experience designing data warehousing schemas, particularly Snowflake
- Proficiency with relational databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server
Preferred:
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Android mobile development (Native, React Native, or MAUI)
- Exposure to machine learning models and AI deployment pipelines
