In this role, you will:

In this Lead Process Engineer position, you will provide process engineering support and leadership to a platform team within the Paris Plant.  The individual in this role will lead/support a platform team focused on delivering safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics. The incumbent reports to platform asset leader and receives direction in the form of specific and broadly defined project objectives. This role will provide process engineering leadership and support in the form of developing and executing plans for the optimization of, and improvement to the manufacturing and converting processes for the existing product forms, as well as develop, direct, and execute evolutionary changes to the process as dictated by changing business conditions.  You'll also interact frequently with cross functional partners to include supply chain, product, materials, manufacturing, procurement, external equipment manufacturers/suppliers, etc.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and participated in structured problem solving to address opportunities across the facility.
  • Provide leadership to technical improvement areas on the machines, with focus on centerlining, good run settings, lean six sigma, and implementing and sustaining people based and technical based processes.
  • Be primary contact on assigned platform team to lead trials, RSRs, quality protocols and other similar activities on assigned platform assets.
  • Work closely with the product, material, and engineering to provide functional guidance in the design, development and/or optimization of converting equipment/processes to meet unit objectives.
  • Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized as an effective implementer of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.
  • Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized as an effective subject matter expert in advanced process development and documentation.
  • Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies, and guidelines.
  • Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.
  • Seek, recognize, define, and solve problems to achieve unit objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or relevant scientific discipline, Chemical or Industrial preferred.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • Strong technical expertise, communication, and problem-solving ability
  • Analytical skills to collect and assess data to support technical recommendations
  • Evidence of continuing self-development
  • Ability to work within a team-based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing of personal care products
  • Lean Six Sigma experience with belt rating.
  • Effectively demonstrate leadership and behaviors to align with Kimberly-Clark's Ways of Working
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate across functions/departments
  • Experience with external technical service, sourcing, and supply vendor partners
  • Technical knowledge and experiences with high-speed manufacturing equipment
  • Prior exposure to plant/manufacturing experiences

Salary Range: 85,540 – 105,620 USD
