DIRECTOR OF SALES (Finance)



Position Summary

The Director of Sales is responsible for increasing monthly parking and other parking revenue sales at Colonial Parking's portfolio locations by generating and following up on existing leads and leveraging current accounts. In addition, this role develops new monthly revenue products to attract non-traditional parker groups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes an annual monthly parking new business plan for targeted locations, including supporting strategies, tactics, budget, resources, and timeline.
  • In concert with Customer Care and management at all levels, coordinates all monthly sales activities to fill the Sales pipeline with potential new business.
  • Directly responsible for all points of the monthly parking new business and sales cycle, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and evaluation of opportunities at current locations.
  • Manages the department's Client Revenue Growth Program tracker, ensuring data is current and complete. Provides analytical reports on requests and tracks the opportunities to-win ratio and other key metrics.
  • Develop and test new rates and monthly parking product configurations to attract non-traditional parking groups.
  • Be able to successfully network to increase pipeline.

Minimum Job qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in General Business or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of new business, sales, and networking.
  • Established experience in drafting, developing, managing, and reporting new business annual plans and instituting changes to the business to either maximize profitability or mitigate actuals that fall below expectations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, prioritize, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Able to adapt and respond to changes in both the work and market environments to adjust approaches and solutions that best fit any given situation.
  • Strong team player who can coordinate and collaborate with various work styles and thought processes.
  • Established experience in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM software, Salesforce.

Qualifications Desired

Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. Background in the parking, airline, and hospitality strongly desired.

Performance Standards

This position will receive an annual performance review from the direct supervisor, which will discuss actual performance compared to company-stated expectations and agreed-upon job related performance goals for the upcoming year.
