Government Guaranteed Lending Content Creator (Finance)



Position Summary:

The Government Guaranteed Lending Content Creator is responsible for developing clear, engaging and accurate content related to government guaranteed lending programs, including SBA, USDA, and other federal or state-backed loan products. This role involves understanding financial products, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to translate complex lending topics into clear engaging content.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop specific policies and procedures for SBA Servicing, SBA Underwriting, USDA Servicing, USDA Underwriting, and USDA Closing.Develop high-quality written, visual, and digital content focused on SBA, USDA, and other government-guaranteed loan products.Create weekly marketing emails and monthly newsletters.Assist with the coordination of weekly podcasts.Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) in lending compliance and business development to ensure content accuracy and relevance.Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates and policy changes related to government-back lending and reflect them in content strategy.Support business development with relevant materials and customer education content.Ensure all content complies with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.Manage sensitive matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.Foster and maintain effective relationships with senior leadership to meet expectations and business objectives.Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and proceduresRepresent Community Bankshares Inc. and its subsidiaries at community events, as appropriate.Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent editing and proofreading skills with high attention to detail, organization and time management Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments. Experience working in a financial institution or government lending environment. Solid understanding of SBA and other government loan programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and banking software platforms. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Journalism, or a related field. 3 years of experience in content creation, preferably in banking, finance, or government-guaranteed lending.
