Production Manager (Finance)

How You Will Make an Impact

As a hands-on Production Manager , you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives . This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who thrives on driving process improvements, mentoring teams, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations and ensure all departmental objectives are achieved .

  • Develop and execute production schedules while ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Serve as a liaison between operations and cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service.

  • Identify and resolve production challenges through effective root-cause analysis and problem-solving.

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency and workplace organization.

  • Monitor and control manufacturing costs to support profitability goals.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to line leaders and group leaders to support their growth and performance.

  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all levels of the production team.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Associate's required ; Bachelor's preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing management experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, conditional formatting, graphs).

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional projects and driving team performance.

  • Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven track record of promoting safety and compliance in manufacturing settings.

  • High level of initiative, ownership, and responsibility for outcomes.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organization.

  • Must be proactive, results-oriented, and lead by example.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Must be able to walk throughout the facility, reach above and below shoulder height, and lift materials using proper technique.

  • Regular exposure to manufacturing areas where PPE such as safety glasses and hearing protection is required .
