Job Description

The eLearning Development Designer is primarily responsible for the research, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of all digital learning curricula. This role will ensure consistency in curriculum through multiple delivery channels such as web, video, interactive and dynamic tools, etc. The eLearning Development Designer collaborates with the Learning & Cultural Enrichment team to support the content and programmatic priorities that enable growing Ent's repertoire of digital learning experiences, products, and programs, as well as digital media content for Ent staff.

Essential Functions

  • Implement strategies to engage diverse audiences and achieve learning outcomes through the integration of digital tools with Ent's programs and learning environments Plan, and manage educational experiences, products and programs within digital platforms to achieve learning outcomes. Be responsible for the management of Ent's Learning Management System and BVS Customize, manage, design, develop, update, and maintain all training materials and content in SharePoint on the PEAK (Ent's intranet) Manage and introduce new media and software for education staff. Work with HR administration to support and advise any education staff using digital media or technology for their programs.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Cultural Enrichment team to determine eLearning needs and recommend areas requiring developmental training. Manage all eLearning content and analysis instruments to support needs analysis efforts. Liaison with eLearning management contacts and Learning & Cultural Enrichment leaders to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency of all eLearning materials provided. Responsible for the overall management categorization and systemization for eLearning content, course completions and revision cycles.
  • Creates project plans to ensure all eLearning projects meet organizational timelines. Assists with the preparation and distribution of eLearning materials.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Education, Innovation, or similar field of study
  • 3+ years' formal training and development teaching experience in either a school or corporate environment to include: uired
  • 2+ years' curriculum writing experience in either a school or corporate environment uired
  • 1+ years' experience in a financial institution preferred

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; with the ability to cover sensitive or difficult topics with nuance, integrity, and empathy.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and consistent, logical, and effective decision-making skills.
  • Advanced knowledge principles related to adult learning theory, methodology, facilitation, instructional design and development is required. This includes being proficient with new technology advancements relevant to digital and asynchronous learning.
  • Deep knowledge of technology and media applications for educational purposes. Must be keyed into emerging technologies and ready to share new ideas with the workforce education team.
  • Well organized and structured in approach, with strong project management skills that delivers fast and responsive follow through.
  • Able to think strategically and innovatively about systems and processes.
  • Can anticipate operational system issues, develop preventative measure sand communicate proactively.
  • Focused on the end user (learner) experience.
  • Knowledge of digital media practices, including an understanding of copyright laws, open source, and related issues within the field.
  • Expertise in technical writing to include training manuals, memoranda, and proposals.
  • Experience with e-Learning authoring software e.g. Captivate and Articulate.
  • Previous experience with the implementation and management of a learning management system a plus.
  • Basic HTML skills preferred (beginner to intermediate level; advanced is advantageous)

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is: $62,899 to $69,451 per Year (S14)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
