Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Finance)
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead vendor negotiations and manage ongoing vendor relationships to ensure optimal pricing, service, and contract terms.Track procurement metrics and identify areas for savings and improvement across purchasing categories.Evaluate and implement alternative products, suppliers, or sourcing strategies to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.Support large-scale purchases including new furniture, clinic expansions, and equipment upgrades.Analyze spend data and purchasing patterns to drive sourcing strategy.Collaborate with the Purchasing Operations Manager to align day-to-day procurement with broader sourcing initiatives.Conduct regular vendor performance reviews.Work with finance to ensure sourcing strategies are aligned with budgetary goals.Maintain documentation of all contracts and sourcing projects.

This role focuses on large-scale purchases, contract negotiations, procurement analytics, and continuous improvement of sourcing processes. Ideal for someone who is both analytical and relationship-driven, the Strategic Sourcing Specialist is comfortable working with data, navigating high-stakes vendor negotiations, and collaborating across departments.
