LFG Construction Supervisor (Finance)
The team offers a unique work environment that specializes in a wide variety of projects where we are working on construction projects on new and existing cells on landfills. Your role will be supervising, operating, and overseeing the excavating, trenching, HDPE pipe fusion and installation of landfill gas piping systems and flare installations.
• New construction of gas wells, piping and gas flares on landfill and coal ash sites.
• Other new construction activities on landfill gas (LFG) and landfill fluids collection systems.
• $75/day per diem for meals and incidentals.
• Stay in company provided lodging.

Your Role:
• Survey equipment, pipe fusion equipment & techniques, compacting and materials handling equipment.
• Complete project related paperwork neatly, timely, and accurately including but not limited to timesheets, dallies, expense reports, etc.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external clients, including direct reports.
• Understand environmental and health and safety regulations while performing construction activities in a safe and proper manner.
• Assist with the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies for projects.
• Perform maintenance on system components to ensure or restore proper operation and compliance.
• Work with and around heavy construction equipment and excavations on landfills.
• Oversee and maintain clean, and organized equipment and supplies.
• Walk long distances, up and down steeply sloped landfills and outdoor terrain.
• Safely work in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions.
• Provide an aggressive and pro-active approach to client needs.
• Travel for extended periods, as necessary. Anticipated that a working construction supervisor/foreman will travel 75-80% of the time. Typically, on rotation every 3-6 weeks.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 5 years of construction working experience, with a minimum of 2 years supervising and 3 years of heavy equipment operation.
• Must have excavator machinery experience, and grade experience.
• Must have pipe experience, HDPE pipe fusion experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on a non-consistent basis.
• Must be available to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Familiar with landfill gas construction techniques, surveying and blueprints.
• Familiar with or able to become familiar with general landfill gas and leachate collection system, construction techniques and components.
• Proficient in the use of the PC, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• To drive for company business, you must maintain a safe driving record as defined by Tetra Tech's Vehicle Safety program. This offer of employment is contingent upon successful evaluation of a motor vehicle (MVR) check if required.
• This offer is also contingent on valid proof of completed OSHA 10 Hour Construction certificate as defined by Tetra Tech.

Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience.
A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
