ERP Business Analyst (Early Career) (Finance)



Are you ready to launch your career in technology and business systems? Join MacLean-Fogg as an ERP Business Analyst where you'll support the backbone of our operations-our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. In this entry-level role, you'll work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and IT specialists to help us continuously improve our systems and processes. You'll play a key role in supporting ERP system configuration, integration, testing, training, and user support. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in business analysis, systems thinking, and enterprise technology at a global manufacturing leader.

Job Description

  • Position Type: Full-Time (Exempt)
  • Pay Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
  • Work Location: Mundelein, Illinois (Hybrid/Remote)
  • Travel: Up to 50%
Key Responsibilities
  • Document and analyze business processes and requirements for ERP system improvements.
  • Support ERP installations, configurations, and integrations across departments.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure data accuracy and system readiness.
  • Collaborate with developers and ERP specialists on system logic, file structures, and access.
  • Deliver training and create user-friendly documentation for ERP users.
  • Provide first-level ERP support, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between technical teams and end users.
Qualifications (Required):
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in ERP systems, business analysis, or IT support.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Qualifications (Preferred):
  • Internship or co-op experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, J.D. Edwards, SAP, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Familiarity with basic database or ERP scripting languages.
