Sales Support Assistant, KSBY (Media)



Are you a detail-oriented professional with excellent customer service skills? Join KSBY as a Sales Support Assistant where you'll be the backbone of our sales department, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client service. In this role, you'll coordinate client communications, manage advertising materials, and provide crucial administrative support that helps our sales team succeed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Contact clients regarding ad materials, pricing, billing or special upsell opportunities

  • Input ads into the order system and assist with collecting/composing ad copy

  • Calculate and communicate rate packages to clients and prospects

  • Facilitate and process sales presentations

  • Generate sales reports and identify/correct billing errors before month-end

  • Research account problems and develop satisfactory solutions

  • Handle daily clerical functions including answering phones, filing, and correspondence

  • Arrange and distribute advertising materials and sales reports

  • Provide exemplary customer assistance

  • Attend sales training and planning meetings

  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Generally 2+ years of experience in administrative or sales support preferred

  • Driving required. Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret sales demographics and creative layouts

  • Capability to generate reports, business correspondence and presentations

  • Strong communication skills with managers, colleagues and customers

  • Ability to calculate figures related to advertising rate packages

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to learn new software programs like ad order entry and CRM

  • Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

  • Team player mentality both internally and externally

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Standard office environment

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Hourly: $19.00 - $21.00


 

Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in California.
