Position Title: BI Analyst II

Role:

The BI Analyst II works collaboratively and supports cross-functional team members, providing and maintaining a world class reporting environment and BI (Business Intelligence) solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily support of end-users' ability to effectively and efficiently utilize the reporting platform
  • Help to design, build, deliver and maintain world-class reporting environment for all areas of the Towers Group using Power BI and other Crown reporting platforms
  • Support development of BI roadmap based on Towers Group goals and project prioritization
  • Collaborating with D&D to ensure data quality and integrity in data warehouse platforms for BI reporting
  • Develop understanding of the various business processes, datasets and BI deliverables
  • Communicate and collaborate with users and Business Performance team to analyze information needs and functional requirements, deliver moderately complex solutions based on needs
  • Collaborate with developers and domain experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs, support moderately complex solutions
  • Adhere to sound data-governance and forward-looking data visualization
  • Work with divisional teams to understand the processes used to generate reports currently, supporting IT to automate these processes
  • Partner closely with technical and business teams to complete requirements gathering, testing and successful delivery for mass data updates into the ERP system

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Business Analytics, or related field.

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Three (3) years' experience with delivering BI solutions, specifically working within the Power BI service
  • Experience with data mining principles as well as data mining and visualization tools (demonstrated experience with both WebFocus and Power BI platforms required)
  • Experience with multiple coding languages and tools such as SQL, JavaScript, R, Python, Excel VBA, RAW, SAS
  • Experience with configuring and maintaining BI platforms, data warehouse concepts, database management systems and data warehouse technologies

Travel Requirements: 5-10% travel to Canonsburg, PA office

Working Conditions: This is a remote role with telecommuting benefits.

Additional Information: Pursuant to the Los Angeles County and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

The salary range offered for this position is $103,813-$112,400 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location.  Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
