Accounts Receivable Administrator - Vactor Manufacturing (Administrative)



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the DSO and Delinquency to meet corporate guidelines (FS Solutions & Vactor).
  • Process all Cash Applications (Checks, ACH & Wires) for Elgin, FS Depot, FS Solutions & Vactor.
  • Process all credit card transactions (FS Solutions & Vactor).
  • Administer all Customer Payment Portals and ensure that our invoices are entered for payment.
  • Review AR Aging Reports and Interact with Direct Customers to resolve issues that delay payment.
  • Establish and Maintain Credit Limits on Direct Customer Accounts (FS Solutions & Vactor).
  • Process Credit Applications, verify Bank & Trade References and review D&B Reports on potential accounts.
  • Recommend Increase / Decrease to Customer's Existing Credit Limits based upon parts purchase & pay history.
  • Maintain and update account information on P&A contractors. (FS Solutions & Vactor).
  • Collection Calls on Direct Channel Accounts (FS Solutions and Vactor).
  • Develop and Administer Repayment Programs on Delinquent Accounts.
  • Issue “Credit Holds” & Demand Letters on Delinquent Accounts, and forward to Collection Agency if not resolved.
  • Review Bad Debt Reserves (All ESG Divisions).
  • Complete ESG Management Reports (ESG Divisions)
  • Complete all End of Period Balancing & SOX Reports.
  • Send out monthly statements for All Accounts (Elgin, FSD, FSS, Jetstream & Vactor).
  • Work with the Sales Team on getting credits (pricing, errors & returned items) issued on a timely basis.
  • Work with the FSS Director of Sales to resolve sales orders submitted w/o PO or Correct Payment Terms.
  • Review a request for credit and decide within a timely manner whether orders will be accepted or declined.
  • Review "Hold" or "Review" Status on Part Orders over their credit limit and decide if the order will be accepted and shipment will be allowed. (FS Solutions & Vactor).
  • Provide credit references on direct channel accounts.

 EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work as a team and build constructive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Must have the ability to solve problems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Cash Applications, AR Collections & Bookkeeping experience is preferred.
  • JD Edwards, Payment Portal, Power BI Tool experience are preferred.
  • Titling experience preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:   High school diploma. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business preferred.

Salary Range - $24-28/hr
