Position Overview

Responsible for leading and managing the company to ensure effective execution of operational performance and growth strategies. This includes oversight of all aspects of safety, strategy, aggregates, asphalt and construction operations, sales, financial accounting, equipment management, and critical support functions. Key competencies include business acumen, customer focus, developing direct reports, driving results, strategic agility, and building effective teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, knowledge, skills, and abilities

Experience

  • Senior management experience with responsibility for delivering earnings
  • Proven success in strategic planning and execution
  • Experience managing large groups of employees and complex projects
  • Demonstrated success in project management
  • High standard of ethics, integrity, and trust

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively as both a leader and participant
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, presenting, and providing constructive feedback
  • Broad knowledge of company functional areas

  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to work independently, under time constraints, and during non-traditional hours as needed
  • Moderate travel required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with civic leaders and policymakers at all levels

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear
  • Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and ability to adjust focus
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to safely drive a vehicle for long periods

Compensation & Company Benefits

At CRH, we strive to provide compensation and benefits that attract, engage, and retain the best talent. This includes competitive pay and a variety of benefit programs for eligible employees.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $250,000-$325,000 a year. This role is eligible for a short term bonus and long term incentive compensation, in addition to the base salary. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
