Business Development Executive - Communications, Energy & Travel (Finance)
This Business Development Executive position is responsible for market expansion and penetration in the Communications, Energy, and Travel verticals through net new business/logo acquisition.
What you will do
Identify and secure new customers
Land and grow new customer revenue across the Equifax solution portfolio
Develop contact network within new customers and facilitate connection to relevant Equifax counterparts
Lay early foundation for long-term customer relationships
Identify, develop, manage, and close opportunities spanning all Equifax solutions with prospects
Complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business imperatives and risk, fraud, and marketing strategies
Define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful customer value
Network to build relationships with economic buyers, decision makers, and influencers in target customers
Leverage account, solution, and delivery team resources effectively and at appropriate times to advance opportunities
Lead account strategy motions with cross-functional team to identify sales opportunities tied to Equifax value-add
Respond to prospect RFI and RFPs
Drive strong pipeline development, prospecting, and sales execution
What experience you need
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
7-10+ years of experience in B2B, net new logo sales and business development
Experience selling similar solutions (risk, data, credit)
Track record of success selling to Enterprise clients from prospecting to closing
CRM proficiency, Salesforce knowledge
Superior oral and written communication skills

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $113,180 to $145,000. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program.
