Medicaid Liaison (Administrative)

Mentor Hills Post Acute is seeking an experienced Medicaid Liaison. The successful candidate will have two years or more experience working with Ohio Long Term Care Medicaid. Must have experience with Ohio Medicaid rules of eligibility. Must be able to perform financial assessments of residents, meet with residents and families to explain Medicaid. The Medicaid Liaison must be organized and able to work independently.

The Medicaid Liaison must:

Have expertise and experience with OH LTC Medicaid Eligibility

Demonstrate knowledge of Ohio Medicaid rules and regulations.

Perform financial assessment of all residents needing Medicaid assistance.

Take a hands on approach to educating residents and authorized representatives of eligibility requirements while timely assisting to obtain and review documents for LTC Medicaid eligibility

Will frequently communicate with county JFS and Area Agency on Aging to ensure timely processing of cases.

File for and attends state hearings and appeal adverse actions when necessary

Have 2+ years LTC OH Medicaid experience
