Senior Portfolio Manager - Sponsor and Fund Finance (Sales)

The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of credit relationships across the following groups: Private Equity Sponsor Finance, Fund Finance, and Financial Markets. In this role, you will oversee the gathering, analyzing, and underwriting business for the purpose of issuing, extending, amending, reviewing, monitoring and testing a commercial credit facility. The Sr. Portfolio Manager liaises between all parties to ensure timely and efficient analysis that meets the expectations of the Borrowers, Lenders, and Administration Team.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the underwriting of a wide variety of transaction types including leveraged buyouts, dividend recapitalizations, refinancings, amendments, and modifications to credit facilities

  • Manage financial modeling and enterprise valuation work for new and existing credit relationships

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial relationships that generally have $20M to $150M in revenue in partnership with the relationship manager

  •  Serve as contact for, provide support of and responses to internal audits, loan review, compliance reviews and regulatory exams for the bank

  • Comply with all bank policies and procedures as well as applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related discipline

  • Minimum 8 years' commercial credit experience with several years in leveraged lending preferred

  • Thorough understanding of risk management and credit mitigants

  • Knowledge risk ratings analysis, corporate finance and/or research

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability establishing client relationships

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products including advanced Excel modeling skills

  • Familiarity with Moody's analytics

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000-$130,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
