Salesforce Technical Architect (Information Technology)



We are hiring a Salesforce Technical Architect for our IT Solutions team.

This position can work remotely within the US.

Job Summary
To lead the strategy, scalability, and innovation of TIDI's Salesforce platform, modernizing key functions through direct business collaboration and process innovation. This role is vital for building an enterprise-grade Salesforce ecosystem that enables commercial, customer service, and marketing teams to deliver seamless, data-informed, and compliant customer experiences.
Vision for This Role
The Salesforce Architect will drive the next generation of CRM capability by:
Partnering closely with our CRM team (representing commercial and customer-facing perspectives) to shape Salesforce around real-world workflows.
Architecting scalable, modular solutions that evolve with the business
Leading with a data-first, compliance-aware mindset
Integrating Salesforce with enterprise platforms (ERP, CPQ, WMS, etc.)
Championing a low-code, automation-enabled, user-centric CRM model

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salesforce Architecture & Solution Design
Define and evolve the enterprise architecture for Salesforce Sales, Service, and potentially Experience Cloud environments
Architect scalable, high-performance solutions that support global growth, acquisitions, and process optimization
Design and govern the use of custom development, automation, integrations, and AppExchange solutions
Business Partnership & Process Alignment
Embed with commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service) to understand end-to-end processes and translate them into platform capabilities
Lead discovery workshops and value stream mapping exercises to inform solution design
Serve as a strategic partner in improving pipeline management, customer onboarding, issue resolution, and lifecycle communications
Collaborate closely with solutions architect to ensure proposed technical solutions align with business objectives

Platform Integration & Data Strategy
Ensure Salesforce integrates seamlessly with enterprise systems (ERP, data warehouse, analytics platforms, CPQ tools)
Support real-time data flows and master data alignment across platforms
Lead efforts around data governance, integrity, and audit readiness

Technical Leadership & Governance
Establish and enforce architectural and development standards for Salesforce, including naming conventions, object models, DevOps, and code quality
Lead code reviews, mentor Salesforce admins and developers, and oversee partner resources
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure validated environments and auditability

Enablement & Continuous Improvement
Promote Salesforce usability and self-service reporting across user communities
Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Agile, and Shingo-aligned principles
Stay current on industry trends to inform innovation, investment, and partner capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Masters preferred)
8+ years of Salesforce experience, including 3+ years in a lead or architect role
Experience in regulated industries (medical device, life sciences, healthcare) preferred
Certifications Preferred
Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant
Experience with DevOps tools and data migration frameworks

Core Competencies
Strong grasp of Salesforce architecture, security model, and data schema best practices

Estimated starting annual base salary pay ranges is $120,000 - $140,000.00 less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances. TIDI Products offers a competitive benefits package to eligible full-time employees, which currently includes medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with employer matching contributions, life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more, as well as paid sick leave in accordance with applicable law.
