Electrician Assistant-Plant Maintenance (Finance)

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Electrician Assistant to support electrical maintenance and repair activities across aggregate sites in the Salt Lake and Utah Valleys. This position involves day-to-day troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment, along with general maintenance duties on site..

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on aggregate sites.
• Perform routine inspections of motors, controls, panels, and wiring to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose electrical issues and assist in implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
• Support general repair and maintenance duties related to aggregate processing equipment, conveyors, and related machinery.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Complete work independently or under the supervision of a lead electrician or maintenance supervisor.
• Accurately document maintenance activities and report issues as needed.
• Travel between job sites in the Salt Lake and Utah Valleys as required.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment manuals is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in aggregate site maintenance or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
