Business Program Advisor - Express Scripts - Hybrid (Finance)



As a Business Program Advisor on the Readiness Team, you will support cross-functional strategic projects and programs, analyze data to provide content for strategic direction, and be responsible for managing project plans to execution. The Business Program Advisor will assist in gathering and analyzing data to support business process enhancements and resolve issues.

The Business Program Advisor will primarily be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the PBS Readiness program, including high-volume go-lives including 7/1, 10/1 and 1/1. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering projects, implementing process improvements, and ensuring operational readiness for medium to high complexity projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for planning and successful execution of larger cross-functional projects, which include defining project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, risk analysis, mitigation strategies, and work plans.
  • C oordinate key team operations, including scheduling meetings and taking notes, triaging the group mailbox as the first point of contact, maintaining the master distribution list and content on the team's SharePoint site, reviewing and compiling box reports submitted by key partners, and collaborating with the team to develop training presentations.
  • Ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently with minimal direction.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure that designated projects and relevant tasks are completed on time to support go-live activities.
  • Manage tight deadlines for multiple competing priorities, scope, and converging opinions to a solution in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and solve complex problems and situations; transform issues into options and drive results.
  • Synthesize and analyze data into summaries from which decisions can be derived.
  • Ability to effectively operate within a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Provide project management for strategic, cross-functional, and tactical projects.
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of key strategic projects as well as driving activities and actions to achieve aligned goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external individuals in various functional areas and at all levels of management, including executive-level reporting, through various mediums.
  • Ability to present and convey material formally to all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain all required reports, projects, risks, and action logs to provide timely status reviews and updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in the Pharmacy or PBM /PBS industry is required
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience required; Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Express Scripts operations, systems, products and services preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Proficiency in WebEx Meetings and excellent presentation technology skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn multiple internal reporting and analytic tools.
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem identification, and resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions and work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with emphasis on quality/accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in uncertain and/ or ambiguous environments; be self-directed.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during peak times (July & Nov - Feb)

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 89,300 - 148,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
