Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for an E-Commerce Administrative Technician!
About the Team
The Administrative Team provides essential cross-departmental support for the location sales and operations teams. Specific to the Greenland/Portsmouth branch, this team serves as the administrative hub for all e-commerce operations for the entire company, including order and return processing, fulfillment coordination, and platform management, ensuring a smooth and customer-focused experience with our dotcom business.
Responsibilities
In this role, you are responsible for processing e-commerce orders with accuracy and efficiency, utilizing UPS WorldShip and Boise's internal inventory management system, as well as other platforms as required. This role provides critical support for daily administrative ecommerce operations by preparing shipping documentation for the fulfillment team and ensuring timely delivery of each order in compliance with shipping and packaging requirements. This role also provides support with cash applications tasks and general administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and supporting various departments as needed to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. This role will also cross train in various admin functions to ensure coverage as needed.
Admin Duties:
The Ideal Candidate:
Basic Qualifications: General office experience and basic operation of standard office equipment. Basic knowledge of PC's and software such as Windows, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Typically, more than three (3) years' experience in job related function. Office environment with minimal physical exertion.
Education/Experience Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Role may require technical certifications or associates degree. Experience in high-volume e-commerce or shipping operations beneficial but not required.
