Commercial Finance Director (Finance)



As a Finance Director here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and success of our company. You will report directly to our PSS CFO and you will work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you'll be a key influencer in shaping the financial success of Honeywell. You will drive financial strategies, provide insightful guidance, and ensure operational excellence. Your work will directly impact our growth, profitability, and long-term financial health.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in senior finance roles, with a proven track record of financial leadership.
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly valued.

  • Drive financial modeling and forecasting to support informed decision-making to develop and execute the company's financial strategy and long-term financial plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with strategic priorities.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and financial controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Optimize cash flow, investments, and working capital to support business objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of financial systems and process improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, working closely with department heads to align spending with corporate goals and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance financial performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development.
