Mechanical Engineer (Engineering)
Purpose:
Repair Integration Engineer will collect and prepare the repair development data. Each new bearing part number that is requested by our customers to be repaired (level I, level II, or level IV repair) needs to be evaluated by the repair and engineering personnel to determine that the bearing can be process for one of the levels of repairs. Bearing geometrical, dimensional, and fit-up data must be derived from measurements of customer supplied bearings and available library data (engine manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, standard procedures, etc.).
The incumbent will be responsible for various aspects of machine repair and maintenance in support of the shop process including implementation planning, machine trouble shooting, repair, reconditioning and modification.
The incumbent will lead teams for installation and use of new equipment and document repair process techniques for new equipment. The incumbent will conduct process evaluation studies including process capability and measurement system analysis.
The incumbent will be responsible to support quality and repair station to ensure that the inspection, repair, and overhaul processes meets schedule, customers' requirements, regulatory, and quality standards.
The incumbent will be responsible to take ownership of full integration of new projects from startup to completion

Salary Range: $85K - $105K annual
