Groundskeeper (Maintenance)

Maintains Sunray Park and Casino property grounds, including commercial, public property, restrooms and office housekeeping required on the back side of the racetrack Cleans grounds and removes litter, and snow when required. Spreads ice prevention material on walkways and public passage ways to prevent ice buildup and maintain safety of customers and employees. Sweep, mop and maintain cleanliness of entryways to include use of lawn and leaf blower using appropriate safety apparel including safety glasses and/or goggles, and gloves. Also keep scraper mats clean and free of debris.Keeping all outside trash receptacles emptied in parking lots, keeping sidewalks and around the building apron free from all trash and debris, while keeping weeds eliminated in these areas.Work with maintenance crew as neededMaintain cleanliness of Casino restrooms and Casino porter duties as needed.Respond positively and timely with requests from other departmentsA positive, cheerful demeanor required along with excellent customer service skills to keep Sunray Casino a fun, friendly and clean place to visit.Maintain department compliance with federal and state and local laws, including NM Gaming Statutes Rules and MICs.Communicate with customers about upcoming events, information about Sunray Property and direct guests to appropriate destinations.Use proper safety equipment as directed and needed such as disposable gloves, safety glasses and masksEnsure the safety and security of employees and customersCooperate and maintain effective communication with other managers, staff, employees and customersProtect the assets of the companyCreate a friendly, comfortable and exciting atmosphere for all our guests.Keeps company and customer proprietary information strictly confidential.Comply to Sunray Park and Casinos Employee Policy HandbookAll other duties as assigned
